Thank you for applying to the University of Kansas Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) program called ECO-WATER!   

Application Deadline EXTENDED: February 18, 2020  

Program Dates:  June 8 to July 17, 2020 (6 weeks total; 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, July 3 off)

To apply: Complete the online application form below. Be prepared to include:

  1. A personal statement addressing why you are interested in participating in this program, what you hope to learn or gain, how this program will impact your classroom(s), and any additional information that you want to share with the reviewers. Allowed file types: pdf, doc, docx (~1 page).
  2. Letter of Reference: Ask a colleague who knows you well (such as your Principal) to write a letter of recommendation for you and then email or mail it directly to:
