Touchable Bubbles at Engineering Expo Educate Public about Carbon Dioxide

Monday, February 23, 2009

CEBC educated more than 500 elementary, middle and high school students about sustainability issues at the 2009 Engineering Expo at the University of Kansas. Students held, and attempted to bounce and toss, giant carbon dioxide-filled bubbles in their hands. This engaging 'touchable bubble' activity was a fun way to share CEBC research about carbon dioxide-expanded liquids and other green chemistry principles with the public.
