Green chemistry conferences feature CEBC director

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

CEBC Director Bala Subramaniam has become highly involved in the Gordon Research Conference on Green Chemistry. At the 2014 meeting in Hong Kong, he delivered a keynote lecture, “Resource-Efficient Catalytic Technologies for Renewable Chemicals.” Subramaniam will serve as vice-chair for the 2016 conference July 31 - August 5 in Stowe, Vermont. He will then chair the 2018 conference.

The conferences feature recent green processes implemented on an industrial scale, emphasize academic-industrial collaboration, and examine future green chemical challenges. The sessions are chaired and selected by recognized global leaders in the oil and gas industry, biomass processing, the polymer industry, comestibles, the pharmaceutical industry, green energy, and education and communication.
