Graduate students Pallavi Bobba and Kakasaheb Nandiwale win awards

Two chemical engineering graduate students won awards this spring. 

On April 21, Pallavi Bobba won one of 10 Sustainability Leadership Awards given by the University of Kansas Center for Sustainability.  The award recognizes outstanding leadership and creativity in addressing issues of ecology, efficiency and equity on the KU campus and in the broader community.

Kakasaheb Nandiwale won 1st Place in the Graduate Engineering Association's (GEA) Research Poster Competition on April 20 at KU for his poster on lignin depolymerization.
